POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our team at our door assembly facility. The Expeditor will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely flow of materials, parts, and information between departments, with a primary focus on tracking and expediting back orders to help prioritize production. The ideal candidate is self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Monitor and track all outstanding orders, with a focus on identifying and expediting back-ordered units.
- Communicate daily with production, and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Work closely with production supervisors to flag urgent orders and help prioritize workflow accordingly.
- Update and maintain tracking systems or logs for expediting activities and back orders.
- Proactively identify potential delays or bottlenecks in the supply chain and take action to mitigate them.
- Maintain accurate documentation and report regularly on the status of open or expedited orders.

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma/GED required
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, email, and inventory tracking systems.
- Experience in the door manufacturing or construction products industry.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- Proficient in basic computer systems, including inventory and production software (e.g., ERP systems).
- High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 75 lb
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day
