Installer Marketing Manager

Mountain View, CA

Lunar Energy was founded to transition homes to 100% clean energy—making our electricity greener, our air cleaner and our energy more safe, secure and reliable for all. We’re a fast-growing, global company building the world’s best clean energy products to electrify all homes and connect communities to form clean, resilient virtual power plants.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Installer Marketing Manager to lead our installer partner growth and enablement strategy during a pivotal expansion phase. You'll be joining early enough to shape how we scale our channel marketing program, building the playbooks and systems that will support Lunar's growth in new and existing  regions across the country.

In this role, you'll own the full lifecycle of our installer partnerships—from attracting and certifying new partners to ensuring existing installers have everything they need to successfully sell more Lunar Systems. You'll be equal parts strategist, executor, and collaborator, working cross-functionally with commercial, deployment, and product teams to drive channel revenue growth.

What You'll Do

Grow Our Installer Network

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to recruit certified installers in new markets as Lunar expands
  • Create compelling partner value propositions and recruitment campaigns that resonate with solar installation businesses
  • Build scalable systems and processes for partner marketing onboarding and enablement

Enable Partner Success

  • Design and deliver installer communications across events, email, social media, content creation, and other channels to drive engagement and product knowledge
  • Develop sales collateral, training materials, and resources that help partners effectively sell the Lunar System
  • Manage co-marketing programs with key partners to amplify reach and drive growth
  • Create partner training and enablement programs that ensure installers can confidently represent Lunar

Drive Events and Field Marketing

  • Manage end-to-end execution of major industry trade shows, including vendor management, booth strategy, and ROI measurement
  • Plan and execute Lunar-owned events that strengthen installer relationships and build community
  • Spend time in the field with installers to understand their needs and gather insights

Measure and Optimize

  • Own key performance metrics including channel revenue growth and expansion of certified installer base
  • Analyze campaign performance and partner engagement data to continuously improve programs
  • Use insights to inform strategy and demonstrate marketing's impact on channel growth

Be Agile and Prioritize

  • Shift focus throughout the year based on business priorities, whether that's trade show season, new market launches, or partner enablement initiatives
  • Take a bias for action approach—test, learn, and iterate quickly

Who You Are

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of B2B or channel/partner marketing experience
  • Proven track record of growing partner networks and driving channel revenue
  • Experience with digital marketing, content creation, and data analysis
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Proficiency with marketing tools (HubSpot experience is a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Background

  • Experience in solar, clean energy, construction, or trades industries
  • Familiarity with installer/contractor business models and sales cycles
  • Experience building partner programs from early stages

Your Approach

  • Self-starter: You see what needs to be done and make it happen without waiting for direction
  • First principles thinker: You question assumptions and build solutions from the ground up
  • Bias for action: You move quickly, test ideas, and learn from results
  • Collaborative: You work seamlessly across teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Mission-driven: You're energized by contributing to the clean energy transition

What to Expect

This is an individual contributor role today, with potential to grow the team as Lunar expands into additional regions. You'll have the autonomy to build and own channel marketing strategy while working closely with leadership and cross-functional partners. The pace is fast, the work is varied, and the impact is tangible.

If you're excited about building something from the early stages and want to play a key role in scaling clean energy adoption, we'd love to hear from you.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
