See Your Work in a New Light
At LUX Infusion, we believe infusion and specialty pharmacy care should feel safe, thoughtful, and deeply human — for patients and for the teams who support them. Our pharmacists play a critical role in ensuring every therapy is delivered with clinical excellence, accuracy, and trust.
We’re looking for a Relief / Per Diem Pharmacist who wants their work to mean something — a licensed pharmacist who brings strong clinical judgment, leadership, and accountability to pharmacy operations when coverage is needed most.
Why This Role Matters
The Relief Pharmacist ensures continuity, safety, and consistency of care in the absence of the Pharmacist‑in‑Charge. This role plays a key leadership function — supporting pharmacy technicians, safeguarding medication accuracy, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
In this role, you’ll contribute to work that:
- Protects patient safety through accurate prescription review and verification
- Supports pharmacy teams with calm, steady leadership during coverage periods
- Ensures uninterrupted, compliant medication therapy delivery
- Strengthens a clinician‑led organization focused on high standards and patient outcomes
Every shift matters — and your presence ensures care continues safely and confidently.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Provide clinical oversight of pharmacy operations when serving as pharmacist on duty
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure safe, effective, and compliant workflows
- Review and verify prescription orders, confirming appropriate medication selection, dosing, and patient education materials
- Deliver evidence‑based, cost‑effective medication therapy in accordance with FDA requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and internal policies
- Conduct initial patient assessments, disease‑specific consultations, and refill assessments as required
- Maintain compliance with applicable State Board of Pharmacy regulations and accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC, The Joint Commission)
- Participate in quality assurance activities and audits as requested
- Respond effectively to operational needs, interruptions, and priority changes during coverage periods
- Bring reliability, sound judgment, and professional presence to clinical operations
What We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you bring:
- A strong commitment to patient safety and ethical pharmacy practice
- Confidence working independently while leading pharmacy operations
- Clear, effective communication with technicians, patients, and care teams
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Calm decision‑making under pressure
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE‑accredited School of Pharmacy
- Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment
- Experience providing high‑quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy technology systems
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1)–two (2) years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy settings
You don’t need to check every box — we care just as much about how you show up as your years of experience.

Here, you’ll find:
- Purpose‑driven clinical work with real patient impact
- A patient‑first, clinician‑led culture
