Line Lead - 3rd Shift
Compensation: $20.50/Hr
Job Summary:
Responsible for line scheduling and changeover coordination. Adjusts line sequencing based on visual controls from schedule/Kanban. Determine operators’ assignments based on sequencing and part specific needs to ensure maximum efficiency. Complete part production labeling, data input and reporting requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determine product needed by reviewing Kanban or schedule.
- Monitor and communicate hour by hour line performance to ensure effective schedule execution.
- Ensure safety, 6S, and quality standards are met for line.
- Monitor and coordinate material availability to ensure effective schedule management.
- Coordinate machine operator and line operator assignments to meet part specific standard work requirements and ensure production schedules are met.
- Immediately report any unsafe act or condition.
- Promote teamwork through effective motivation and respect for each team member.
- Serve as an active participant in LSS programs that promote continuous improvement.
- Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities for Consideration as a Candidate:
- High school, GED or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Must have knowledge of Oracle job data and labeling transactions in addition to paperwork / traceability requirements to ensure accurate material transactions.
- Must have previous line experience.
- Computer skills.
