Team Lead - 2nd Shift
Compensation: $23/Hr
Job Summary:
Will be responsible for meeting Business Unit, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), Scrap reduction, and On Time Delivery targets. Completes part production data input and reporting requirements and coordinates machine operator and line operator assignments to meet part specific standard work and production schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily line staffing is sufficient to meet production and delivery requirements
- Reviews schedule and order requirements for each production line. Communicates with other shift team leaders / shift manager on schedule/ order status and known priorities. Immediately notifies Planner and Manager of unplanned downtime or at risk order requirements
- Coordinate line change overs, shift start ups, and shift transitions for maximum effectiveness.
- Monitors hourly performance for each production line. Coordinates assistance from shift manager, process engineer, quality engineer, maintenance or other support functions as needed to immediately correct off- target line performance.
- Functional knowledge of shop floor, Oracle, and Visual management (Kanban).
- Ensures compliance to Visual Management controls. (Hour-By-Hour performance tracking, Line OEE, scrap, and 6S. Must be able to implement improvement actions where and when needed.
- Ensures associate compliance to part and process operating standards and standards work requirements. Immediately corrects non-conformance to procedure and issues identified in Layered Process Audits.
- Develops expertise in all line operations in order to provide break relief and operations knowledge base for problem solving activities.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Line experience
- Computer skills
- Fork Lift license
