Senior Performance Marketing Manager

We’re hiring a strategic, results-driven Senior Manager of Performance Marketing to lead and scale our paid search program. This role will own the vision, strategy, and execution of SEM, with a clear mandate to drive efficient pipeline growth and measurable business impact. You will lead performance marketing initiatives end-to-end, partner cross-functionally with Marketing Ops, Revenue, and Analytics, and mentor junior team members while building a best-in-class acquisition engine.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the overarching SEM and app acquisition strategy, including channel expansion and long-term growth planning aligned with company revenue goals.
  • Lead day-to-day and strategic channel management, scaling multi-channel paid acquisition across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, app install campaigns, and relevant pay-per-lead (PPL) programs (e.g. Capterra, Software Advice),  ensuring best-in-class execution across keyword strategy, bidding, targeting, creative, and app growth levers.
  • Drive full-funnel performance across performance marketing channels, optimizing for CPL, CVR, installs, activation, and pipeline contribution.
  • Drive continuous optimization of performance metrics including CPL, CVR, and pipeline contribution, with a strong focus on efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage and forecast large-scale budgets, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and reallocation strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Establish a rigorous experimentation framework across ad creative, landing pages, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and app install funnels; scale winning approaches.
  • Translate data into actionable insights, delivering executive-level reporting on spend, lead quality (QLs/SQLs), and pipeline impact.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and Analytics to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and measurement frameworks that inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and unlock new growth opportunities through search query mining, competitive analysis, and expansion into new channels or tactics.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies, incorporating innovations into the marketing strategy.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance campaign performance, accelerate testing velocity, and uncover new growth opportunities across channels.
  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging AI-driven marketing technologies to improve targeting, creative development, and bidding efficiency.
  • Directly manage, mentor, and develop at least one performance marketer, with clear accountability for coaching, skill development, and elevating team performance.
  • Build a strong culture of teaching and continuous improvement, proactively sharing knowledge, frameworks, and best practices across the team.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; quantitative field preferred. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in performance marketing with deep expertise across SEM, app install campaigns, and/or PPL-based acquisition; experience scaling programs in high-growth environments.
  • Strong fluency in AI tools and applications within marketing (e.g., generative AI for creative, automation tools, data analysis); ability to apply AI to drive measurable performance gains.
  • Proven track record of incorporating AI and automation into campaign strategy and execution to improve efficiency and outcomes.Proven track record of owning and optimizing large budgets across web and app channels, delivering measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect channel performance to broader business objectives.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience translating complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Experience directly managing at least one report, with a strong track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing talent.
  • Passion for teaching and raising the bar for others; you take an active role in developing team capabilities, not just managing output.
