Field Application Engineer I (FAE I)

As an FAE, you will deploy our cutting-edge solutions, empowering miners worldwide to maximize their fleet's potential and hash more with less.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Take primary and secondary support roles on customer pilots.
• Provide top-class customer support via inbound and proactive customer interactions.
• Implement and optimize firmware for Bitcoin mining hardware.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot customer issues.
• Drive firmware deployment and optimization across mining fleets through demos, technical calls, and customer pilots.
• Manage key accounts in support of the Director of Customer Success as assigned.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth integration of firmware solutions.
• Monitor and maintain firmware performance and reliability.
• Provide detailed executive summaries of firmware performance across client fleets.
• Develop and update documentation for firmware deployment and troubleshooting.
• Stay updated on Bitcoin mining technology trends.
• Attend conferences and staff booths as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess a desire to be customer-facing, understanding that our team of FAEs represents a critical part of the MARAFW customer and prospect experience. A successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Experience with VPN configuration.
• ASIC Technician or Data Center experience.
• Familiarity with Bitcoin mining hardware.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and desire to travel up to 35% of the time.
• A solution mindset.
• Self-motivated with a desire to maximize their impact on the team.
• Ability to write simple python and shell scripts.
• Experience in the Bitcoin Mining or HPC industry (preferred).
• Understanding of ASIC firmware for Bitcoin mining (preferred).
• Experience with remote firmware deployment and support (preferred).
• Familiarity with customer success tools (ZenDesk, CRMs, Teams, Slack, Office 365, Loom, TeamViewer, and Telegram) (preferred).
