Position Overview:
The Data Analytics Manager is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable business insights. This role bridges data expertise and strategic business objectives to support decision-making, improve performance, and drive growth. The manager oversees a team of data engineers while also performing some individual contributor functions. The position is located at the company’s headquarters in Alpharetta, GA, reports to the CFO, and partners closely with Mark Spain Real Estate’s executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Visualization and Reporting:
~ Drive consistent measurement and definitions of core KPIs across the business to ensure all leaders throughout
the business are relying on the same set of facts and referencing one source of truth.
~ Develop dashboards that enable the executive team and board of directors to quickly understand business
performance across all key metrics in real time.
~ Manage the company’s Looker BI tool, including review of existing dashboards for accuracy and ongoing
business relevance.
~ Prepare and present analytical findings to executive team and board of directors with clear, actionable
recommendations.
~ Leverage the company’s centralized data warehouse (Google Cloud / BigQuery) to support internal and external
reporting needs.
~ Support automated B2B data transfer to key external business partners (vendors, customers, etc).
~ Research and suggest automation and AI tools to enhance efficiency.
~ Continuously explore and adopt new analytics technologies and methodologies.

Data Strategy, Management and Governance:
~ Manage a team of data engineers and analysts, including coordination with offshore resources.
~ Lead prioritization process for analytics requests by assessing effort and expected ROI to focus efforts on the
highest impact projects, and communicate timing and priorities back to all stakeholders regularly.
~ Oversee data collection, data quality, and data accuracy to ensure reliable analytics outputs.
~ Manage the company’s infrastructure and annual budgeting for data storage, integration and retrieval.
~ Define and implement the company’s data analytics strategy aligned with business goals.
~ Collaborate with business leaders to identify analytics needs and translate them into technical solutions.
~ Serve as a subject matter expert on data analytics and promote best practices across the organization.


Qualifications:
~ Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field; advanced
degree preferred.
~ 8 or more years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity.
~ Proficiency in SQL, Python and analytics/BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
~ Experience with change management and user training associated with reporting and BI tools
~ Experience setting up and managing data warehouses using industry best practices.
~ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
~ Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex data insights clearly.
~ Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, and data governance best practices is a plus.
~ Experience in real estate, lead generation, or service industries preferred.

~ Full-time, in-office role in Alpharetta, GA.
~ Little or no business travel is expected.
~ Adapt to evolving business needs and drive strategic improvements.
