ACCOUNT COORDINATOR, FAM TEAM
The ever-growing FAM (Fun, Fitness And More) team has immediate openings for an entry-level role: Account Coordinator.
The AC is the backbone of a successful account team, helping to keep us organized and informed, while also assisting with the execution of integrated communications campaigns. You’ll work on consumer brands, focusing on PR programs that include earned media storytelling, influencer programming, and bold creative platforms.
What You’ll Do:
Media Relations
- Capture the attention of national media by building targeted media lists using resources such as Cision and Muckrack
- Begin to form relationships with key media outlets
- Help to craft pitches
- Mine for trends and cultural conversations that can be tapped for client outreach
- Conduct media outreach and secure coverage
- Monitor for coverage (client and competitive)
Account Management
- Play key account management role, scheduling internal/client calls, drafting agendas and recaps for supervisor review, and maintaining team drive
- Organize client folders and databases
- Oversee brand samples and track inventory (if applicable)
- Coordinate deliveries to media and influencers
- Coordinate team/client meeting details (check in, meals, etc.)
- Support events and mailers
Monitoring
- Manage media coverage reports/ tracking documents
- Provide ongoing monitoring for client and competitor coverage
- Own ongoing client reports (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.) and trackers, keeping them updated and accurate
- Support programmatic reports (e.g., event recap, mailer recap, influencer campaign recap, etc.)
Nice to have:
Influencer Programming
- Build influencer rosters
- Support content review process
- Collect and report back-end creator metrics
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 0-1 years of experience (internships included)
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Positive and flexible attitude

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

- SALARY:$45,000-$48,000
(New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.)
Location: Remote or in the New York office
Our Flexible Work Policy:
We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event.
For those outside the NYC hub, you will be asked to be in person too. Examples of this may include client meetings, events or team meetings. There will also be in person opportunities for you to connect with others who live in your hub to collaborate and work together.
