Associate Digital Strategist, Google Photos
Job title: Associate Digital Strategist
Who We Are:
At M Booth, we produce award-winning, culturally resonant, and buzz-worthy campaigns that move key audiences to action.
We are relentlessly passionate about our clients and their business, whether that means developing scrappy campaigns and content that breaks through, maximizing earned to reach key audiences, leading in digital innovation, or unleashing insights that unlock ideas that win in the marketplace. And we have a bold belief that our work can and should contribute to an equitable world.
Our agency was born 40 years ago with entrepreneurial roots, a people-first culture, and a passion for creativity and innovation. As we look to the future, we believe ‘Only the Bold’ will make a lasting impact and change. From culture to creative, in today’s world BOLD moves everything we do.
We now have an opportunity for an Associate Digital Strategist (ADS) to support a rapidly growing and diversifying portfolio of digital business. The ADS role would primarily work with our Google clients and help drive social engagement, community insight, social listening, and creative ideation.
About The Role:
This is the role for someone who’s extremely online in the best way. You’ve got a feel for what’s trending on TikTok or Instagram Reels before it’s in a deck, you understand the nuance of brand tone in the comments section, and you can spot a user generated content (UGC) gem in a sea of scroll.
As an Assistant Digital Strategist, you’ll be at the center of the conversation: monitoring social media, commenting, and surfacing insights that shape how our clients connect with their online communities. You’ll collaborate with designers, strategists, and client leads to bring bold social ideas to life, and learn what it takes to build brands in the fast-moving world of digital culture.
What You’ll Do:
Be the Voice of the Brand with a B2C Lens:
- Own daily community management across various social channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and Facebook for our brands - identifying opportunities to comment on other posts and responding on our own.
- Monitor brand and industry conversations using tools like Brandwatch and Talkwalker, with manual support.
- Quickly draft and post comments aligned with established Brand voice guidelines.
- Spot and flag potential issues early, and respond per our established protocols.
- Attend live events or in-office event management rooms to support real-time coverage and engagement.
- Maintain trackers to log community engagements, responses, and opportunities surfaced.
Work Closely with Clients:
- Join client meetings to listen in on any social listening/community management/social creation/ publishing needs or shifts, and to share social insights in real time.
- Review meeting agendas and recaps that keep everyone aligned.
- Provide thoughtful perspectives and platform-informed recommendations live and via email.
- Proactively respond to emails from our clients for the workstreams you manage.
- Collaborate with clients and partners on content that authentically features the brand.
Collaborate and Plan Across Teams:
- Publish content, maintain content calendars, and keep cross-functional teams up to date.
- Comfortable with reporting and publishing tools (we use Sprinklr) to execute content calendars.
- Track performance and share learnings to inform future work.
- Partner with Analytics on monthly reporting and recommendations.
- Help translate social trends, tone shifts, and memes into actionable content ideas for weekly trendspotting recommendations.
- Work closely with a team that includes digital strategist, creative team members, and a project manager.
Create Content:
- Develop clever posts when speed or real-time relevance matters.
- Strong social copywriting skills are a must.
- Drive small-scale social projects independently.
- Work with the design team to bring posts to life.
- Coordinate real-time content moments quickly and creatively
- Knowledge of AI tools (especially Gemini) is a plus in assisting with the content creation process.
What You’ll Bring:
- 2–4 years of experience managing social media communities on behalf of brands.
- A strong grasp of social platforms—especially Instagram—and the rhythm of what makes content land.
- Solid writing and communication skills; you can channel a brand voice while still sounding human
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in culture, social trends, and internet behavior.
- Used to working in a fast-paced environment.
- A team-first attitude and excitement to learn from others.
- Experience in tech brands is a plus, but curiosity is essential.
- Experience in influencer marketing is a plus, but not required.
What We’ll Bring:
- A workplace that’s alive with creativity, respect, and humanity.
- Growth opportunities and mentorship to help you build your career in social and digital strategy.
- A hybrid model that balances flexibility and collaboration.
- Comprehensive healthcare and wellness plans for you and your family.
- 401(k), unlimited PTO, paid holidays, and Summer Fridays.
- Additional perks like commuter benefits, family leave, and well-being programs.
- Salary Range: $56,000-$70,000
- (New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted, depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.)
- Location: NYC Metro Preferred
Our Flexible Work Policy:
We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub, we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them, or attending an industry event.
For those outside the NYC hub, you will be asked to be in person, too. Examples of this may include client meetings, events, or team meetings. There will also be in person opportunities for you to connect with others who live in your hub to collaborate and work together.
If you plan on working remotely, we can accept applicants from the following states:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington D.C.
