We are a collaborative mid-sized agency with an immediate opportunity for an Account Executive to join our growing Corporate Affairs team! 

​​This Account Executive will play a key role on a critical piece of business on our Corporate Affairs team. You’ll be part of the success of all client programming, getting hands-on with complex projects, and contributing ideas to an ever-growing client.

Location: NYC/East CoastHybrid (Located in the NYC HUB with Be IRL 2 Days/Week)

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive proactive media outreach and secure impactful coverage across top-tier outlets while cultivating strong relationships with key media contacts.
  • Proactively anticipate client needs, offering strategic insights, culture-driven trends, and forward-thinking solutions beyond direct requests.
  • Co-lead client calls, owning key discussion points, agendas, and subsequent team deliverables.
  • Help oversee all daily client communications (including emails and Slack) in partnership with account leads, ensuring clear, concise, and professional messaging.
  • Develop comprehensive media materials, including communications strategies, press releases, tailored pitches, and client presentations.
  • Help support influencer programming, including roster vetting, brief development, and program execution.
  • Oversee account tracking, reporting, and program metrics.
  • Review junior team members' deliverables and provide ongoing mentorship.
  • Participate in new business development as needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in public relations or integrated communications (agency experience preferred).
  • Proven hands-on experience executing both traditional PR campaigns and influencer marketing programs
  • You are a culturally dialed-in, chronically online, voracious consumer of media with a deep understanding of corporate, B2B, and consumer storytelling; ability to translate complex, technical material into compelling media hooks.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple tight deadlines across accounts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills for tracking campaign results and a proven track record of excellent client relationship management.
  • An entrepreneurial self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to take initiative with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Salary: $56,000-$65,000

(New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.)

Our Flexible Work Policy: 

We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event. 

For those outside the NYC hub, you will be asked to be in person too. Examples of this may include client meetings, events or team meetings. There will also be in person opportunities for you to connect with others who live in your hub to collaborate and work together.
