Job Summary
MedElite is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role will be based at our Brooklyn, NY headquarters and will play a key part in driving financial insight, supporting strategic decisions, and contributing to reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience in financial analysis, strong financial modeling skills, and prior exposure to M&A activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and delivering financial reports and presentations to executive leadership and cross-functional departments to support informed decision-making.
- Build and maintain complex financial models for business planning, forecasting, and investment analysis
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning
- Analyze monthly financial results and performance trends; communicate key insights and variances to leadership
- Support M&A activities through financial modeling, due diligence, and integration analysis
- Develop management reports and dashboards to monitor financial KPIs and operational efficiency
- Partner with accounting, operations, and executive leadership to support data-driven decision-making
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and forecasting efficiency
- Assist with board and investor presentations as needed
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Prior exposure to mergers & acquisitions or investment banking is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required
- Experience working with large datasets; familiarity with BI tools is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
