Account Manager, Demand Partnerships

Role Overview
MediaAlpha's Demand Partnerships team works directly with leading Property & Casualty insurers to drive performance and growth on our proprietary advertising exchange. We're looking for an Account Manager to join this team, someone who is eager to learn the nuances of our platform and industry, and who thrives in a data-driven, fast-paced environment.
In this role, you'll manage day-to-day relationships with P&C advertiser partners, own campaign performance analysis, and develop a strong working knowledge of our platform's features and mechanics. The ideal candidate brings 2-3 years of experience in account management, ad operations, or performance marketing, and a genuine curiosity for turning data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships and account operations for P&C insurance partners
- Analyze partner KPIs and campaign performance data to identify optimization opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations to partners and internal teams
- Resolve partner issues efficiently with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
- Develop a strong working knowledge of core platform features, including underlying functionality and mechanics
- Implement and champion campaign management best practices across the partner portfolio
- Implement and monitor partner integrations, including data passing, performance imports, and real-time bidding connections
- Serve as a platform expert, advising partners on optimal configurations and strategic best practices
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships
- Partner cross-functionally with Supply and Analytics teams to deliver strong performance for demand partners
- Establish effective working relationships with internal teams and develop a solid understanding of company operations, best practices, and processes
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in account management, ad operations, or trafficking within online advertising
- Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data manipulation, with the ability to synthesize large data sets into clear strategic insights
- Proven ability to self-direct work and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with a client-first mindset
- Ability to leverage insights gained across the partner portfolio to inform account strategy and recommendations
- Strong attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn, drive to improve, and a willingness to learn from mistakes
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and thoughtfully across teams and with external partners
Compensation & Benefits
We are excited to offer a competitive cash compensation range of $85,000 to $97,000 per year for this position, based on experience and qualifications.
