Wellpower Drivers provide pick up services for vendors and donors of the Adult Resource Center and the Family Resource Center for WellPower. Takes an active physical role in loading, unloading and carrying various product on a daily basis.

***Please note that this is a part-time, 24-29 hour per week role.***

Pay Range:

$26.72/hr

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Follow organizational and departmental rules and guidelines.
  • Maintain boundaries with dual relationships.
  • Pick up Food Bank of the Rockies orders, scheduled vendor purchases, and outreach opportunities, and deliver to one of two Resource Center  locations, as organized by direct supervisor.
  • Pick up donations at Dickenson and Recovery Center on a monthly basis, or as needed, per direct supervisor/Program Manager.
  • Takes an active physical role in loading, unloading and carrying various product on a daily basis.
  • Maintain necessary records of work, receipts, customer needs/feedback and supply needs.
  • Maintain timely internal and external communication through email and Microsoft Teams.
  • Maintain safety and best practice techniques while lifting and moving goods.
  • Assist with moving inventory and food products into the warehouse locations.
  • Prepare and move products ready for delivery to our dock area for the following work days delivery.
  • Practice safe and defensive driving, per WellPower policies and standards.
  • Conduct efficient vehicle check in/out and maintenance, scheduling and record keeping.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times, conducive to the standards of WellPower.
  • Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

One year experience as a driver. Candidate must have experience and be familiar with driving a box truck.

 

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT TO BE USED: Moving tools, calculators, fax machines, copiers, telephone and navigational tools, such as GPS. Opportunity to be WAVE and Forklift certified.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds and co-lifting up to 150-300lbs. Requires physical stamina and manual dexterity sufficient to operate large trucks and equipment.

Tuberculosis (TB) screening, testing  -  TB  screening and testing, is required and must be completed prior to hire ( i.e., preplacement), and maintained during employment
