As our VP, AI Solutions, you will...
Enable our account teams in positioning and selling AI-centric solutions. You'll serve as the technical bridge between our AI capabilities and customer needs, helping translate complex AI concepts into compelling business value propositions that resonate with clients across industries.
Be Accountable and Responsible
- Customer Engagement: Participate in customer AI briefings and discovery sessions, demonstrating our AI capabilities through live demos and proof-of-concepts. Articulate technical concepts in business terms that align with customer objectives and pain points.
- Sales Enablement: Create and maintain sales collateral for AI offerings including presentation decks, solution one-pagers, and case studies. Develop customized materials that showcase how our AI solutions address specific industry challenges.
- RFP Response: Lead the technical portions of RFP responses for AI-centric opportunities, ensuring accurate representation of capabilities, implementation approaches, and technical requirements. Collaborate with legal and commercial teams on AI-specific terms and SLAs.
- Workshops: Help design, lead, and support innovation workshops with Merge customers around the application of AI for their business needs and objectives. This may include tool demonstrations and use case development and ideation sessions. These workshops will be highly interactive and are focused on showing the capabilities of AI, not just talking about them.
- Solution Design: Work with account teams to design AI solutions that meet customer requirements while remaining technically feasible and commercially viable. Create high-level architecture diagrams and implementation roadmaps for customer proposals.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor AI offerings and market trends to position our solutions effectively. Maintain battle cards and differentiation guides to help sales teams win against competition.
- Internal Training: Educate account teams on AI capabilities, use cases, and value propositions. Develop and deliver training sessions that enable sales professionals to identify and qualify AI opportunities independently.
These are the qualifications we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 8+ years in technical sales, sales engineering, or solution consulting roles
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and enterprise applications
- Experience creating technical proposals and presentation materials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Key Skills
- Ability to translate technical AI capabilities into business value
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level comfort
- Experience with RFP processes and proposal development
- Understanding of enterprise sales cycles and buyer personas
- Collaborative approach to working with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Experience
- Background in AI/ML implementation or consulting
- Experience with specific AI platforms and agent technologies
- Industry-specific knowledge in key verticals
- Technical writing or marketing experience
- Familiarity with solution architecture and design patterns
This role is essential for accelerating AI adoption among our clients by ensuring our sales and solutions teams can effectively position and sell our growing portfolio of AI-powered solutions.

The salary range for this role is $185,000 - $215,000, based on the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
