Position Summary
AGIL serves data center clients through integrated equipment, service, parts, and aftermarket solutions, working collaboratively with operating companies across the Meriton network.
The Parts General Manager will build AGIL's nationwide Parts business from the ground up and own its strategy, P&L, team, commercial growth, procurement, inventory, operations, logistics, and customer experience. This entrepreneurial leader will create a scalable national platform recognized for premier service, reliable fulfillment, and solutions designed for mission-critical data center operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategy, Growth, and P&L
- Develop and execute the strategy, business plan, value proposition, pricing approach, and operating model for a scalable, profitable national Parts business.
- Own the P&L, budgets, forecasts, investments, and performance against revenue, gross margin, operating income, inventory, and working-capital goals.
Sales and Customer Relationships
- Build the national sales capability and develop executive relationships with data center owners, operators, contractors, service providers, and other mission-critical customers.
- Create disciplined account planning, pipeline, retention, and strategic-account practices that expand share of wallet and recurring parts revenue.
Operations, Distribution, and Logistics
- Design and lead AGIL's national operating model, including order processing, warehousing, centralized distribution, fulfillment, returns, and customer support.
- Build a resilient logistics network and measurable standards for fill rate, accuracy, response time, communication, and on-time delivery.
Procurement and Inventory
- Develop sourcing and supplier strategies; build strong manufacturer, OEM, distributor, and vendor relationships; and negotiate competitive commercial and service terms.
- Establish product assortment, critical-spares, forecasting, replenishment, and inventory controls that balance availability with turns, cash utilization, and obsolescence risk.
Team and Organizational Leadership
- Design the organization and recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team across sales, customer support, procurement, inventory, operations, distribution, and logistics.
- Create clear roles, decision rights, performance expectations, and a culture of ownership, urgency, collaboration, service, and continuous improvement.
Enterprise Collaboration and Customer Experience
- Partner closely with AGIL Equipment Sales and Service, Meriton operating companies, finance, technology, and other enterprise leaders to deliver coordinated national solutions.
- Establish clear rules of engagement and uphold premier service standards centered on technical expertise, proactive communication, dependable execution, and rapid issue resolution.
Key Measures of Success
- Profitable revenue growth, gross margin, operating income, and working-capital performance
- Successful launch and scalable development of AGIL's nationwide Parts business
- Customer acquisition, retention, satisfaction, strategic-account growth, and recurring revenue
- Order fill rate, accuracy, response time, on-time delivery, and inventory availability
- Supplier performance, purchasing effectiveness, inventory turns, and supply-chain resilience
- Effective enterprise collaboration and a high-performing, engaged Parts team
Qualifications
- Significant leadership experience in HVAC parts, industrial distribution, mission-critical infrastructure, data centers, or a related technical distribution business.
- Demonstrated success building, launching, scaling, or transforming a multi-functional parts or distribution operation.
- Strong P&L leadership with broad knowledge of sales, procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, distribution, and customer service.
- Proven ability to build teams, develop leaders, establish processes, and create accountability across multiple markets or operating companies.
- Experience building relationships with manufacturers, OEMs, vendors, contractors, and sophisticated national customers.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Ability to travel nationally as required.
