The Role
Metropolis is seeking a Recruiter (High Volume) to source, attract, and hire hourly top talent to meet the staffing needs for our commercial operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for a high number of positions across 100s of locations throughout the west coast region. This role requires exceptional communication skills, organizational ability, and a keen eye for identifying talent quickly in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Responsibilities:
- Source Candidates: Utilize multiple sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events, to attract a high volume of candidates for open positions.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct phone screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate Interviews: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
- Job Advertising: Create and post job descriptions across various platforms to maximize visibility and attract a large candidate pool.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs, ensuring a continuous flow of talent.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication throughout the recruitment process and providing timely updates.
- Data Management: Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance rates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand hiring needs and ensure alignment with job descriptions and candidate profiles.
- Onboarding Support: Assist with the coordination of the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are integrated effectively into the organization.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal requirements related to recruitment and hiring.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-4 years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and other recruiting tools.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities at once.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is preferred, though not required.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for high-turnover industries (e.g., retail, call centers, warehousing).
- Familiarity with workforce management and staffing agencies.
- Ability to manage a high volume of requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually. The actual base pay offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base pay is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
