As Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a designated book of business, ensuring the seamless execution of client relationships and delivering on revenue and product adoption goals. In collaboration with the Sales team and key cross-functional partners, the Account Manager will work to build long-term relationships, ensure client satisfaction, and drive operational excellence throughout the client lifecycle; this role requires a blend of client-facing service, relationship management, and post-sales coordination.
Client Servicing & Relationships
- Manage a designated book of business to meet quarterly revenue and product adoption goals, in collaboration with the Sales team.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients throughout their lifecycle.
- Oversee the post-sales process, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, both internally and externally, ensuring clear communication and strong partnerships.
Campaign & Insight Management
- Ensure operational excellence at every stage of the campaign lifecycle, including delivering insightful reports.
- Work closely with your team and Traders to set up successful campaigns.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise, removing technical challenges from the trading and product teams.
- Identify opportunities for additional revenue by providing strategic recommendations to clients.
Thought Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor, offering valuable insights and feedback to both clients and internal teams.
- Proactively challenge ideas and assumptions, fostering open, honest dialogue.
- Understand client challenges deeply to provide relevant solutions and drive success.
Innovation
- Consistently propose creative solutions for client challenges and inspire a culture of innovation within your team.
- Pilot new ideas, methods, and approaches, taking calculated risks to improve outcomes.
- Share innovative practices with sales and trading teams to enhance overall performance.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3-4 years of experience in the programmatic media, social, and/or ad tech space.
- At least 2+ years client facing experience working in a team environment
- Client Services / Account Management / Sales Support / Ad-Ops background advantageous but not required
- Experience with basic functions of Microsoft Excel or similar
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to problem-solve, work independently, and identify potential risks
- Eager to learn new systems, technologies, and advertising techniques
- Flexible and adaptable as a team player with strong communication skills
- A can-do attitude to provide energy, drive and enthusiasm

Pay Transparency
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in British Columbia, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to British Columbia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $60,000- $75,000. This range may vary for positions outside of British Columbia as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
