
Marketing Communications Specialist

Summary of Role:
The Marketing Communications Specialist will lead the development of key content materials and social media planning for MMNA’s marketing communications. Provide professional support of department development of advertising campaign components, media planning & analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the development of national and regional advertising materials, including but not limited to TV, dealerized spots, video content, digital display, print, outdoor, point-of-sale, brochures, and photography.
- Support advertising production requirements including project coordination and management, internal and external approvals, asset coordination/distribution and campaign execution.
- Lead organic social content planning including briefing, content development, publishing, and community management monitoring.
- Research and identify new social platforms/tools to innovate social initiatives such as social listening tools, content creation partners, publishing platforms, social link software, etc.
- Work closely with the media and creative agency partners to ensure marketing plans and programs are on strategy, on time and being optimized.
- Review media and creative performance reports to understand KPIs and/or other performance metrics are achieved. Assist with KPI tracking as needed.
- Manage, coordinate, and monitor assets on asset management platform for proper categorization, accurate descriptions, and valid usage dates.
- Implement consistent brand messaging across marketing communications and provide brand communications guidance to dealers and internal departments.
- Ensure all content and images are accurate, product correct, grammatically correct, consistent with overall marketing strategy, and compliant with Company policies and appropriate laws and regulations.
- Ensure advertising materials follows brand guidelines including consistent branding and verbiage throughout marketing communications.
- Assist on various projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years previous marketing experience at the exempt level. Advertising and/or media agency experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university, or 5+ years related experience in marketing, advertising, media, communications, or related field.
- Advanced verbal / written communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.
- Must maintain a valid unconditional drivers' license and MMNA approved driving record. Some travel required
Pay Transparency:
The base salary for this position ranges between $60,000 to $65,000. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
