About the Job:
Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) is seeking a dynamic Distribution Manager to support our District Sales Managers and Dealer Network with the efficient and strategic distribution of vehicles. This role is vital to our success, directly impacting sales performance, dealer satisfaction, and customer experience through effective allocation and inventory management.
As Distribution Manager, you’ll collaborate with National Distribution, Port Managers, and Parts & Accessory Group Managers to redefine and implement MMNA’s distribution processes. You’ll play a key role in executing our five-year business plan while helping shape the future of a fast-growing OEM.
This role reports to the: Regional Sales Manager
Role Summary:
The Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing regional allocation KPIs, managing port-installed accessory KPIs, and coordinating Field Demo units for field associates. This position requires strategic thinking, strong collaboration across multiple stakeholders, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable distribution decisions.
As a Distribution Manager You Will:
- Lead and manage regional vehicle allocation strategies, ensuring fair and effective distribution aligned with market demand and dealer performance.
- Monitor and optimize port-installed accessory performance, driving incremental revenue opportunities.
- Oversee Field Demo unit planning and distribution, ensuring field associates have the right tools to support sales.
- Partner with National Distribution, Port Managers, and Parts & Accessory Groups to design and implement new distribution processes and guidelines.
- Serve as the key contact for District Sales Managers and dealerships, resolving distribution challenges and delivering solutions.
- Analyze allocation and inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, making proactive adjustments as needed.
- Develop and present performance reports to leadership, highlighting progress against KPIs and recommending strategic improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between distribution, sales, marketing, and aftersales initiatives.
- Provide coaching, training, and support to field associates on MMNA’s distribution systems and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts across the distribution function to enhance efficiency, transparency, and dealer satisfaction.

- Achieve familiarity and comfort with MMNA’s internal systems.
- Reach 90% self-sufficiency in 80% of job responsibilities.
- Building partnerships with the District Sales Managers and Dealer Network.

- Demonstrate measurable improvements in allocation and accessory KPIs
- Being a trusted partner to field and dealer network.
- Be prepared to take on additional duties, projects, and leadership opportunities within the team.
Ready to Join The Team? You Should Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in automotive distribution, supply chain, dealer operations, or sales operations; OEM or captive experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing allocation, inventory flow, or distribution strategy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and influence decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven success in cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); SAP or similar ERP system experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance strategic priorities and tactical execution.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Transparency:
The base salary for this position ranges between $120,000 to $125,000. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
