The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco:
As a Growth Manager in Japan, you own the success and expansion of a portfolio of small to mid-sized advertiser accounts - driving revenue growth through strategic account management, data-driven optimization, and trusted client partnerships. You'll translate Moloco's programmatic solutions into measurable business outcomes for clients across mobile apps, gaming, commerce, and streaming, partnering closely with Sales, Implementation, Product, and Data Science to unlock performance and scale.
The Opportunity:
Client Relationships & Account Ownership
- Own day-to-day relationships across a high-volume portfolio of mid-market and SMB accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for client success.
- Lead client meetings, business reviews, and multi-stakeholder communications with clarity and consistency.
- Understand each client's business objectives, KPIs, and growth ambitions - and proactively surface aligned opportunities.
- Prioritize effectively across a large book of business, ensuring every account receives meaningful strategic attention.
Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy
- Develop and execute data-driven strategies to drive upsell, cross-sell, and incremental revenue across your book of business.
- Identify and pitch expansion opportunities, balancing short-term gains with long-term partnership durability.
- Use data storytelling to build business cases and influence client stakeholders to act - budget shifts, new product adoption, geo expansion.
- Handle objections with structured commercial thinking and creative problem-solving.
Campaign Performance & Optimization
- Monitor how clients are utilizing Moloco's DSP - identifying underperforming setups, missed opportunities, and levers for improvement.
- Proactively surface actionable recommendations to help clients get more out of the platform: bidding strategies, budget allocation, creative approaches, and geo expansion.
- Use tools (SFDC, Moloco Cloud Platform, Looker) to analyze performance data and translate findings into clear, client-ready narratives.
- Partner with Implementation, DS, and Operations to flag and resolve technical issues that affect client performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Feedback
- Partner with Sales, Implementation, Data Science, and Operations to drive account outcomes and ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Relay market and client feedback to Product, DS, and Engineering to inform roadmap decisions.
- Contribute to team playbooks and pitch materials; share what works in Japan with regional and global peers.
How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me?
Experience
- 1- 3 years in account management or growth, ideally in programmatic marketing, mobile advertising, or ad tech.
- Proven track record managing and growing advertiser accounts, including high-volume or mid-market books of business.
- Familiarity with big data, MMPs, the mobile app ecosystem, and ad tech platforms.
Skills & Mindset
- Strong commercial instincts: identifies upsell opportunities and executes with data-backed pitches.
- Advanced data storytelling: turns performance data into clear narratives that influence client decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - simplifies complex concepts for client managers and directors.
