About Momence

Momence is a next-gen booking and communications platform for experience-based businesses, such as a yoga and pilates studios, gyms, dance schools, salons and spas, golf facilities, swim schools, etc. We help thousands of businesses with scheduling and payments, communication, and automation of their business backend. We also have a customer-facing Momence app, where hundreds of thousands of customers book their wellness experiences every month.

As a remote-first company backed by Y Combinator (Summer 2020), we are revolutionizing the experience economy by providing modern software solutions to an underserved industry. While we operate fully remotely everywhere else, our Prague-based team has a hybrid setup, with a dedicated office for regular in-person collaboration.

About the team

The UX/UI Designer will join a dynamic team dedicated to crafting visually appealing and user-friendly web experiences for small businesses. We are looking for someone with a strong visual design background who has transitioned into UX and product design. You will leverage user testing, customer feedback, and business strategy to design intuitive checkout flows, platform interfaces, and other core product experiences across desktop and mobile. We work quickly and collaboratively to validate new features and scale them across our platform.

What are we looking for?

• A background in visual design, with a natural transition into UX and product design. You have a strong eye for aesthetics while focusing on usability and functionality.
• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design or graphic design with a strong UX overlap.
• Proficiency in Figma, with a solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Experience designing modern, user-friendly web products and interfaces.
• A product design mindset, where great design is about creating seamless user experiences, not just visuals.
• Daily collaboration with product managers and developers, balancing technical constraints with design solutions.
• A creative yet pragmatic approach, finding the best way to merge design, technology, and business goals.
• Fluency in English, as we use it daily.
• Based in Prague, with the ability to work from the office at least three days per week.
