Procurement Claims Supervisor
A Day in the Life:
In the position of Procurement Claims Supervisor, you will perform the end-to-end research, investigation, and resolution of claims. Research complex, high-value claims—including engineering-related issues such as packaging, downtime, quality control, and transportation—and acts as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners. Ensure all claims are handled accurately, efficiently, and in a manner that protects the company’s financial and operational interests.
The Impact You'll Make:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for collecting, reviewing, and validating all required claim documentation, including but not limited to engineering reports, Quality Control (QC) reports, Cash on Deliveries (CODs), invoices, and
supporting evidence. - Calculate all applicable claim costs such as transportation, destruction, sample shipments, rework, and any other
incremental expenses. - Support and guide the Procurement Claims team by monitoring claim dwell times, identifying roadblocks, and
proactively removing barriers to ensure timely claim closure. - Follow up on submitted claims to ensure prompt payment and closure, maintaining clear visibility into outstanding
items. - Act as the first line of escalation for disputed claims, driving timely and cost-effective resolution by gathering
additional support documentation, facilitating internal or external cross-functional discussions, and appropriately
pushing back on co-packers or vendors when necessary. - Maintain an understanding of regional claim requirements, including foreign exchange and currency considerations.
- Prepare and deliver monthly claims Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and provide quarterly support for
Monster Energy business reviews to be discussed with upper leadership, as well as building decks on reports for review
meetings with leadership. - Develop and manage relationships with vendors and co-packers, particularly high-profile supply partners, ensuring
claim handling remains controlled, transparent, and aligned with partner expectations. - Identify recurring issues, trends, or risk exposures and recommend process improvements to reduce future claim frequency and financial impact.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's Degree in the field of Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field of study preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Claims Management, Operations, or
related field - Minimum 1 year of experience in supervisor or lead capacity preferred
- SAP experience and Smartsheet experience preferred. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities preferred.

Pay Range
$70,304 - $78,740 USD
