The Role

We're looking for an experienced PR professional to develop and lead a consumer PR strategy around our brand marketing activities. You’ll be part of a busy press office,  working closely with the Brand Marketing team to create and drive ideas that push boundaries and challenge the norm, showcasing our brand moments and attributes to new media audiences. You’ll need to be an exceptional communicator and a strong collaborator with the ability to multitask. 

This role is for a leader who is a doer, you see the big picture but are not afraid to get your hands dirty and approach projects in a collaborative manner. You’ll be reporting to the Director of Communications and join two Senior PR Managers, a Senior Corporate Communications Manager and a PR Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and leading on proactive PR strategies for consumer audiences 
  • Collaborating and working hand-in-hand with senior leaders across marketing, agency partners and the business 
  • Analysing data and making data-driven decisions to measure strategy effectiveness
  • Being the key connection point between the PR and Communications team and Brand Marketing 
  • Being an excellent team player and leader within a small, high-performing team 

You should apply if you have:

  • A track record of leading creative “big bang” projects for consumer audiences 
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills and experience 
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment 
  • Examples of how you have raised the bar across consumer-facing projects you have worked on that demonstrate both out of the box creativity and outstanding results. 
  • Experience managing a variety of stakeholders and collaborating with multiple teams 
  • Passion and ambitions for the Monzo brand! 

The Interview Process:

Our interview process involves four main stages: 

  • Recruiter Call (30 min)
  • Initial Call (30 min)
  • 2x final interviews via Google Meet (45 min each)
