Role Overview
This role supports the planned giving (PG) program with a focus on cultivation and stewardship of PG donors and prospects. You will play a crucial role in helping determine planned giving donor relationship tracks and moves management by directly handling related inquiries, qualifying leads, ensuring smooth operation of our lead qualification process, and related data and acknowledgement needs. You will additionally assist the team with Legacy Society stewardship touchpoints and data needs. This role will additionally directly steward a small portfolio of Legacy Society donors through a pre-established communications plan.
Department Accountabilities
Key Account Management
Take responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering the organization's account management strategy. May also personally manage a few relationships with the most strategic donors.
Donor Development
Pursue strategic opportunities in coherence with MSF-USA´s strategy, that create long-term value for the movement by cultivating partnerships or identifying and develop new geographies, markets, or donors for its mission.
Donor Relationship Development
Build trust and loyalty with potential donors. At the simplest level, update donors on activities. At a more complex level, build long-term relationships with donors.
Brand Positioning
Develop brand positioning based on the brand strategy and implement brand plans.
Roles Specific Outcomes
Project Management
Deliver small-scale or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.
Donor Experience Mapping
Support in performing and implementing techniques such as voice of the donor initiatives, journey mapping, and qualitative touchpoint analysis to identify donor pain points, challenges, and hurdles.
Key Account Management
Provide day-to-day support on both new and existing accounts by performing prescribed and non-routine account management activities. Help the account management team respond to more complex donor enquiries.
Donor Relationship Management
Make calls (by telephone or in person) to allocated donors to maintain and strengthen existing relationships. Act as a first point of contact for resolving donor queries and complaints.
Data Management
Manage basic aspects of the data management system with guidance from senior colleagues. This includes being responsible for developing or operating basic elements of the data management systems to deliver prescribed outcomes.
Business Meetings/Events Arrangement
Arrange venues, equipment, catering, accommodation, and travel for participants arriving from various locations to ensure the smooth running of medium scale events.

Desired Qualifications & Experience |
At a minimum the Job Holder should possess: · Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Experience in nonprofit fundraising and customer service techniques. · Experience assisting with small-to-medium scale event planning. · Strong computer literacy, including Office 365 and database software, preferably Salesforce (NPSP). · Preference for candidates with an understanding of planned giving fundraising concepts. |
Travel Requirements
Must be willing to travel for work as needed.
Compensation
$59,475 to $89,212 (annually based on experience)
$32.68 to $49.02 (hourly based on experience)
