Role Overview
The Stewardship Officer, Corporate Partnerships is responsible for sustaining and deepening relationships with a portfolio of approximately 500 corporate donors giving at the midlevel range to maximize revenue in support of MSF’s mission. They will be responsible for building a stewardship and solicitation program for this donor group and will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships team, including peers in Integrated Channel Marketing and Data & Systems. The Stewardship Officer will actively work to engage corporate donors from diverse sectors, ensuring our donor base reflects the varied communities MSF serves.
In addition, daily functions include managing corporate inquiries via phone and email, evaluating partnership opportunities against the team’s priorities and policies while ensuring best-in-class customer service.
The Stewardship Officer will lead the planning and execution of in-person and virtual engagement events for corporate donors and their employees, often in collaboration with the Corporate Partnerships team and colleagues from the Communications department.
The role will focus 60% of its time on donor relationship management and retention, 20% on event planning and execution, and 20% on CRM data management and administrative tasks.

Prospecting
Pursue strategic opportunities in coherence with MSF-USA´s strategy that create long-term value for the movement by identifying and developing new audience segments or donors for its mission.
Donor Cultivation, Engagement and Management
Manage a portfolio of 500 corporate donors, driving year-over-year increase in donor retention and giving. At the simplest level, update donors on activities. At a more complex level, build long-term relationships with key donors and key donor segments. Take overall responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering the donor engagement strategy. May be through channels or through personal relationships.
Fundraising
Secure reliable, sustainable and efficient resources in alignment with MSF-US commitments.
Brand Positioning
Drive awareness and consideration through brand positioning based on the brand strategy and implement brand plans.
Best-in-Class Fundraising Systems and Capabilities
Deploy and champion the latest technological systems and capabilities that push the boundaries of what Development can produce for its donors.
Roles Specific Outcomes |
Project Management (F) Deliver small-scale or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.
Donor Relationship Management (Account Management) (E) Develop and implement a donor contact plan to communicate programmatic initiatives and engage the donors in relevant fundraising campaigns. Act as first point of contact for donor queries and complaints and resolve these, referring complex issues to others and ensuring that the donor receives an appropriate response.
Key Account Management (F) Maintain relationships with donors such as small- to medium-sized companies. Work within established systems to develop solutions, generate new opportunities and ensure all donor demands are met.
Customer Relationship Management Data (F) Enter donor information that has been gathered through research and/or through direct donor contact into the donor relationship management system, to ensure that the organization has quality data to enable effective donor retention and business development activities.
Donor Renewals (F) Drive and secure donor renewals through exceptional service interactions, ensuring the donor is consistently gaining value from the product/service.
Procedural Improvement (E) Contribute to procedural improvement by proposing improvements to current working processes and practices, to ensure the organization gets the most out of them.

Desired Qualifications & Experience |
At a minimum the Job Holder should possess: · Minimum three years of successful experience working in a fundraising or stakeholder engagement role, preferably within a large organization. · Demonstrated success managing in-person and virtual fundraising events, either independently or in a support function. · Familiarity with and strong interest in corporate philanthropy and employee engagement initiatives. · Excellent oral and written English language communication skills. · Ability to convey complex information in a clear and actionable manner to a variety of internal and external audiences. · Excellent project management and collaboration skills, keen attention to detail, and investigative nature. · Experience working with fundraising and/or CRM databases, preferably Salesforce NPSP, and demonstrated ability to develop workflows. · Ability to work independently, act decisively, and creatively solve problems. · Ability to handle a large volume of work under pressure and with deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude, keen attention to detail, and goal-oriented mindset. · Familiarity with and commitment to the principles and work of MSF. · Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel and.

Compensation
$88,822 to $133,233, all new employees will be compensated from the minimum to the midpoint based on experience)
