Recruiting Coordinator
About the role
Muon seeks a Recruiter Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team! The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high growth startup environment. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering a seamless candidate experience while supporting recruiters and hiring managers throughout the interview process. This position is based at our Mountain View, CA headquarters and requires an in-office presence 3–4 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule interviews across time zones, including virtual and on-site meetings
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring timely and clear communication throughout the interview process
- Maintain our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse), including accurate candidate records, job descriptions, and postings
- Manage interview logistics such as booking rooms, setting up video links, and handling travel arrangements when applicable
- Greet and support candidates during on-site interviews, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to drive an efficient, organized hiring process
- Support broader recruiting efforts including headcount tracking, reporting, and sourcing
- Help coordinate and attend recruiting events as needed (internal and external)
- Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance candidate experience and team operations
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a Recruiting, HR, or coordination role
- Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- A strong sense of initiative and accountability, consistently driving tasks to completion without the need for reminders
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Proficiency with Google Calendar, Slack, and Greenhouse
- A positive team player who’s passionate about people and processes, and enjoys having fun along the way

Salary
- The salary range for this role is $91K - $110K and will depend on a candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience as defined during the interview process.
