Hours: Full-Time
About the Role
Napster is looking for a Director of Lifecycle Marketing to lead our user engagement strategy across a portfolio of AI, Immersive Tech, and Entertainment brands—including Napster Music, Thunder Studios, and Touchcast. This role will own the strategy and execution of lifecycle marketing initiatives—including email, push, and SMS—and play a key part in driving user retention, engagement, and monetization across a fast-growing, multi-brand marketing organization.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Content, Creative, and Performance Marketing teams to build impactful, data-driven user journeys. With one direct report and strong cross-functional influence, this role requires a seasoned lifecycle leader who can think strategically, execute efficiently, and bring creative vision to performance-driven programs.
What You'll Do
- Own Lifecycle Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement full-funnel lifecycle marketing campaigns across email, push notifications, and SMS to increase activation, retention, and LTV, with a priority on the HubSpot platform due to its key role in managing data flow across push and SMS.
- Optimize User Journeys: Build automated flows and personalized touchpoints that enhance the customer experience—from onboarding to loyalty—beginning with segmentation and lifecycle initiatives in HubSpot.
- Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Content teams to align messaging with user behavior, sales motion, and product milestones.
- Segment & Personalize: Drive advanced segmentation strategies in HubSpot to deliver relevant messages that resonate with distinct user cohorts.
- Leverage Data & Insights: Define KPIs, run A/B tests, and analyze performance to improve campaign efficiency and user outcomes.
- Support Full Marketing Funnel: Ensure lifecycle programs reinforce product marketing, brand initiatives, and go-to-market campaigns across both B2C and B2B channels.
- Build B2B Lifecycle Programs: Design and execute flows and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies to support sales funnel nurturing for enterprise products and AI offerings.
What You’ll Bring
- 8–10+ years in lifecycle, CRM, or engagement marketing, ideally in SaaS, streaming, or consumer tech
- Currently working hands-on in lifecycle marketing—developing and deploying campaigns across email, push, and SMS channels
- Expertise in customer segmentation, behavioral triggers, and retention strategies, with hands-on experience using HubSpot as the primary platform
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and comfort collaborating with product, creative, and engineering stakeholders
- Experience balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Braze, Iterable), analytics tools (e.g., GA, Amplitude), and testing frameworks
We’ll Be Extra Excited If You Have
- Experience across AI, enterprise software, media, or immersive technology
- Background in B2B and B2C lifecycle strategy and campaign execution
- A passion for building innovative user journeys and lifecycle programs from the ground up
- Experience working in startups or high-growth, product-led companies
