Shift: Nights 6 PM - 6 AM
$500 Initial Employment Bonus --- 5% bonus for meeting quarterly goals --- Overtime and Other Incentives
SUMMARY
The primary role of the Maintenance Supervisor is to provide competent & effective Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance support to the Plant and Facility operations in a SAFE manner. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining, adjusting, and repairing plant machinery to meet industry standards while ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to USDA, OSHA, FDA, EPA, SQF, and Local Governments. The position will require a flexible schedule focusing on preventive maintenance and production support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Led or co-led the rollout of significant new equipment within a facility, particularly those focused on automation, and embedded their adoption throughout the site from line operators to line leaders.
Upskilled machine operators, in adjacent functions such as production, from being reactive to proactive, on-the-spot troubleshooters.
Developed a team of technical professionals, focusing on furthering their subject matter expertise and developing them into positions of increasing responsibilities (e.g., leads, planners, etc.).
Follow work instructions and OSHA safety rules, including the use of all PPE and other safety equipment in an industrial environment.
Must be able to work safely with electricity and have experience with single and 3 phase circuits. Working with 480V is required as well.
Must be able to read and use blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, required tools, and various types of standard testing equipment with the ability to fabricate metal to some acceptable level.
Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, detect and replace defective items, test and make final adjustments for high-speed production equipment.
Must be able to maintain equipment in accordance with diagrams and manufacturer's specifications while following preventative maintenance, work orders and scheduled PMs in a CMMS program.
Maintain a clean and efficient parts inventory while notifying of stock depletion for reorder in CMMS.
Be able to use Lathes, mills, bandsaw, drill press, etc. as required to repair parts or fabricate parts as needed.
Complete PMs efficiently and thoroughly.
Able to operate equipment such as forklifts, scissors lift, and other appropriate equipment.
Maintain current GMP, SQF, Food Safety practices.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following represents the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
• 6+ years of progressive experience with maintenance or plant engineering, as well as 2+ years of people management, preferable in a CPG environment
• Experience working and collaborating with management teams.
• Strong project management and project execution skills.
• The ability to lead and participate in root cause problem solving exercises in high pressure environment to arrive at the correct technical solution.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to influence team members within and outside of the department
