The Role

Nex is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager / HR Business Partner to join our team. This dual-role position will be responsible for overseeing HR functions while also acting as a strategic partner to various business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management and experience collaborating with external talent acquisition agencies.

Job description

HR Management

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company’s goals.
• Manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee recruitment processes, onboarding, and employee development programs.
• Advise company on the benefits policy, including benchmarking on compensation and other additional benefits such as healthcare
• Collaborate with accounting team on the administration and approval of benefits.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
• New hire on-boarding.

HR Business Partnering

• Collaborate with department leaders to understand their human resources needs and provide strategic HR support.
• Analyse workforce trends and recommend initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
• Support organisational change and development initiatives.

Talent Acquisition

• Manage relationships with external talent acquisition agencies to ensure alignment with staffing needs.
• Oversee the recruitment process end-to-end, from headcount planning to job offer, ensuring a positive candidate experience and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of external recruitment strategies.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HR management and/or HR business partnering.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Proven experience in recruiting and managing external talent acquisition agencies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience and competence in working in a multinational company.
