Officiating Administration Associate (External Agency Staff)
The NFL is hiring an Administrative Associate for our Officiating team for a 3 month parental leave assignment. This position will have primary responsibility for multiple day-to-day administrative functions of the Officiating Department as well as game day responsibilities in the Officiating Command Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to all of the stakeholders in the Officiating department, including credential management, staff logistics, etc.
- Lead and/or participate in weekly internal and cross-departmental meetings as a representative of the Officiating department.
- Update and distribute internal contact lists and rosters.
- Track and update department calendar of events, meetings, etc.
- Support preparation of briefing materials for meetings, clinics, conferences and other events, working across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Provide Game Day support within Art McNally Game Day Center during the preseason and regular season (pregame set up and checks, in-game communications, post-game reports and follow up.)
- Keep senior staff abreast on time-sensitive and priority issues, with appropriate follow-up.
- Participate in Football Operations game and event duties as assigned by department including but not limited to Officiating Annual Clinic(s); preseason games; off-site, in-season and off-season staff meetings.
- Assist Officiating administrative staff and SVP of Officiating Administration and Club Communications as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in administration, communications, or operations at the collegiate and/or professional sports level
- B.A./B.S. required

Terms /Expected Hours of Work:
Employees are required to work 40 hours per week. This position is FLSA non-exempt and may require overtime as needed.
This is a temporary parental leave coverage assignment that will last 3 months.
This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
Salary
$25 - $25 USD
