Part-Time Music Reporting Administrator
NFL Films is seeking a Music Reporting Administrator to support the Manager of Original Music Administration in managing music reporting across all NFL Media platforms. This part-time role is responsible for maintaining cue sheet data, troubleshooting internal music systems, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely music usage reporting.
Responsibilities:
Support the Manager of Original Music Administration
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support, contributing to the efficient execution of music reporting processes across NFL Media platforms.
- Oversee the daily operations of the cue sheet database and the internal music search application, ensuring all music cleared for NFL use is accurately cataloged and accessible.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal users, addressing troubleshooting inquiries and managing general administrative functions related to music systems.
- Collaborate with software developers to identify, report, and resolve technical issues, and assist in implementing system updates and enhancements.
- Contribute to the analysis of music usage data and assist in the development of detailed reports to support licensing and strategic decision-making.
Ensure Accurate Music Reporting and Cue Sheet Management
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance in music reporting across all NFL Media platforms.
- Review and validate cue sheets for completeness and accuracy prior to submission to Performing Rights Organizations (PROs) and external clients.
- Monitor cue sheet workflows to ensure timely and proper documentation of all music used in NFL content.
Coordinate Cross Departmental and External Communications
- Act as a liaison between the Original Music Administration team and various internal and external stakeholders to facilitate accurate music reporting.
- Interface with the Music Licensing Department to ensure proper reporting of music not owned by the NFL.
- Collaborate with the Programming Department to resolve discrepancies related to airdate and show metadata, and to support cue sheet creation and delivery to clients.
- Engage with NFL International, Promotions, and Marketing teams to gather and verify music usage data for reporting purposes.
- Communicate with Broadcast Partners and NFL Clubs to exchange music reporting information for NFL-produced content and content airing on NFL-owned and operated platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Up to 3 years of experience in music administration, licensing or a related field preferred
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong understanding of music industry concepts (e.g. publishing, rights/ownership, digital distribution)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Other Key Attributes
- Experience with social media/promotions/marketing
- A background in/appreciation for music
Terms /Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time non-exempt position not to exceed 29 hours per week.
Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
Salary
$25 - $30 USD
