Part-Time Field Producer
NFL Network is looking for an experienced Field Producer to assist in the coverage of NFL games, league events and daily news stories. The Field Producer must be able to work with reporters and show producers in gathering elements for any given story or event and do so under strict deadlines. Ability to travel on short notice and work weekends, holidays and evenings is a must.
Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with the Assignment Desk in coordinating coverage and gathering content for multiple platforms.
- Strong editorial judgment. Must be able to work with reporters and show producers in crafting reports for both regularly scheduled and breaking news hits.
- Strong knowledge of field operations and the ability to communicate assignment parameters clearly and effectively with ENG crews and technical staff.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with NFL team and league officials with the goal of strengthening access.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in television production – preferably working as a field producer with a national news or sports network.
- BS preferred with a concentration in Journalism, Communications or similar fields.
- Must have excellent knowledge of the National Football League and NCAA Football
- Strong understanding of current events related to the NFL.
- Able to thrive in breaking news situations and work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently with little supervision or guidance.
- Must be a team leader and work well with others.
Travel
- Must be able to travel on short notice.
Terms / Expected Hours of Work
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
Salary / Pay Range

Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
Salary
$65 - $80 USD

This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location, and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
