Windows Systems Engineer (TS Clearance Required)

North Point Technology’s Spatial Solutions team has an exciting opening for a Systems Engineer with strong Windows system administration skills to help support cloud-based systems that power mission-critical operations. Our team manages, operates, and sustains multiple geospatial solutions deployed in the cloud.

We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives in technical environments and brings experience in installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of cloud-based systems—as well as Citrix-based desktops in cloud environments. Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Take a leadership role in driving system changes and improvements.
• Work directly with government and contractor POCs to troubleshoot and resolve complex incident reports (INCs).
• Proactively recommend configuration changes that enhance performance and reliability.
• Deploy security patches and bug fixes to test and operational environments.
• Update and maintain critical databases with new data.
• Develop and update operational and security documentation, including troubleshooting guides and SOPs.
• Your expertise will be key in ensuring the stability

Required Skills/Experience:

• BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI post-hire.
• DOD 8570 Certification (Security+ or higher).
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Windows administration.
• Hands-on experience completing security remediation tasks following security scans.
• Citrix administration experience.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Architecture, Software Development, and Sustainment practices.
• Proficiency with software development or integration projects in cloud, SOA, web services, or virtualization environments.
• Familiarity with AWS architectures and technologies (S3 Buckets, EC2, Reserved Instances, etc.).
• Experience with Git/GitLab or other version control tools.
• Experience creating Systems Engineering documentation (VDDs, diagrams, etc.).
• Familiar with team collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Prior experience providing systems engineering support for geospatial products.
• Citrix certification(s).
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
• SAFe Agile Certification.
