Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Murex Front Office (FO) Support Consultant to join our team onsite in New York City. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Murex systems within Front, Middle, and Back Office environments, and a strong background in financial markets and investment products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Level 1 Murex support to users across Front, Middle, and Back Office teams.
• Configure simulation views and reports (dynamic tables, notepads, trade queries).
• Assist users with position management, PnL, and sensitivity (delta, vega, etc.) reports.
• Gather and understand user requirements to enhance tool usage and promote best practices.
• Perform Murex configurations related to product definitions, static data, and market data.
• Analyze and resolve incidents related to FO, MO, Risk, and other business areas.
• Coordinate the registration and monitoring of market and static data with various departments.
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Murex projects and support.
• Proficiency in:
• Murex static/market data and GOM configurations.
• Simulations (viewers, layouts, PLVA, risk matrices).
• Operation and event insertion.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, with academic or professional background in finance, accounting, economics, or business.
• Deep knowledge of investment and asset management fundamentals.
• Familiarity with banking systems architecture (contracting platforms, risk systems, BO).
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary teams across administrative, IT, FO, BO, and risk functions.
• Strong analytical skills, including evaluation of product pricing and PnL sensitivity analysis.
Preferred Qualifications & Soft Skills:
• Certifications such as FRM, CFA, CAIA, EFA, or similar are highly valued.
• Proactive mindset with strong anticipation and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented, highly analytical, and able to work well under pressure.
