About Our Tax team Chapter:

Our team helps in preparing and submitting income tax returns and computations, attending to queries and resolving complex tax issues related to the transactions of the company. Also the team has the mission of finding tax savings opportunities while facilitating compliance with tax laws and transfer pricing regulation. 

 

Our Vision

  • Compliance on time with tax authorities and DTA calculation.  
  • Monitoring tax effects of new and existing products. 
  • Attention of tax audits and tax requirements from SAT. 
  • Tax planning related to all new and existing operations.
  • Advisory for M&A transactions, SOP & RSU tax effects, transfer pricing operations, derivative financial operations, among others specialized transactions. 

Our Mission

  • To ensure the tax compliance of Nubank Mexico entities. 
  • To Support other BUs providing accurate tax advisory
  • To supervise that related parties transactions are in compliance with transfer pricing rules. 
  • To find tax efficiency in daily transactions carried out by Nu Mexico.
  • To prevent impacts on international taxation situations (withholding taxes, Double Tax Treaties, FATCA & CRS). 




As a Tax Controllership Senior Analyst, you’ll be expected to:

We will be providing you a broad range of experience in a mixture of tax disciplines such as Corporate tax and Transfer pricing and guide you in a career towards being a well-rounded business advisor. You will be working closely with the team to:

 

  • monthly current and deferred tax and deferred PTU calculation for Financial Statements.
  • support in the preparation of various tax returns and computations including the following:
    • Monthly
      • Income tax estimated payments
      • Value Added Tax
      • Withholdings
      • Preparation of E Accounting
      • Preparation of DIOTs
      • Analysis of payments to Mexican individuals and SC
    • Annual
      • Tax Report (“ISSIF and Dictamen Fiscal”)
      • Tax and accounting reconciliation (Conciliación Contable Fiscal)
      • Inflationary adjustment
      • Analysis of depreciation and amortization of fixed assets
      • Calculation of CUCA and CUFINs.
  • support in reviewing tax transactions of the BU to ensure correct tax treatments are consistently applied
  • support attending tax audits
  • reconcile data to the financial statements and other general ledger data with the tax information (CFDI reconciliation

 

We are looking for a Tax Controllership Senior Analyst professional who has:

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting. 
  • Professional experience of 3+ year working in the tax area
  • Intermediate English level. Must be comfortable with oral and written communication 
  • Ability to work with complex and detailed information
  • Good writing and communication skills with good knowledge on Microsoft office

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous Big 4 experience (EY, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG) preparing tax returns
  • Previous experience working with financial entities or strong knowledge in the Financial Industry.
  • SAP experience preferred or desire to learn - nice to have
