About the Team:
The accounting and financial management team is responsible for Nubank's accounting and financial information, supporting the company's growth through a robust, reliable, and scalable process focused on data and analytics. We are responsible for gathering all of Nubank's financial data, monitoring it, and ensuring that everything is accounted for in our systems. We are also responsible for all regulatory and financial reporting.
As a Controllership Senior Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements;
- Executing the monthly accounting close routine;
- Assisting with internal and external audits;
- Submitting CADOCs;
- Analyzing and recording accounting entries;
- Ensuring that accounting reconciliation aligns with accounting and regulatory reports;
- Continuously identifying improvements in internal processes.
We Are Looking For a Controllership Senior Specialist who Has:
- Knowledge and mastery of accounting processes in Financial Institutions (BACEN and IFRS);
- A degree in Accounting or equivalent area;
- Experience with SAP;
- An analytical, data-driven, and problem-solving profile;
- Clear, pragmatic, and adaptable communication skills to deal with multiple stakeholders;
- Advanced English: able to participate in meetings, read and write documents, and give presentations to diverse teams.
- Experience in Financial Institutions or auditing is a plus.
