As a Public Policy Associate, you'll be expected to:
● Coordinate the positioning of the Nu's regulatory agenda, ensuring its coherence with
the business objectives.
● Develop strategic analysis on topics such as the political, economic, or electoral
landscape for Nu's leadership.
● Lead the smart efficiency initiatives of the Public Policy team, proactively identifying
opportunities for automation to increase productivity.
● Develop and manage engagement strategies and trust relationships with key external
stakeholders.
● Develop advocacy projects in collaboration with the academic bodies, international
organizations and NGOs aimed at engaging with key external stakeholders.
● Direct Nu’s strategy to minimize legislative and regulatory risks.
● Lead Nu’s policy narrative positioning through diverse channels to reach a range of
targeted audiences.
● Liaise with internal stakeholders to prioritize policy opportunities and needs and design
initiatives to address them.
● Arrange and develop direct engagement with Public Officials at regulatory bodies,
ensuring the desirable outcome.
● Support regulatory processes, such as audits and authorization processes, in
collaboration with defense teams.
We are looking for a Public Policy Associate professional who has:
● Bachelor's degree in law, economics, political science, or a similar field (preferred).
● Professional experience of 8+ years working in policy (preferred).
● Advanced level of English proficiency (required).
● Strong oral and written strategic communication skills in both Spanish and English
(required).

● Experience in supporting internal and external advocacy efforts (preferred).
● Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Google Suite (required), Jira and Chat
GPT (preferred).
● The ability to solve complex problems that involve decision-making in evolving contexts
(required).
● Experience with SAP (preferred).

based on the cities that Nu’s offices are located, considering their country of hire. More details
