About the role
- As a Product Manager at Nubank, you'll be on the front lines of building products, features, and improvements critical to the success of our products. Your job will be to ensure we build and deliver the right solutions to our customers.
- You'll face the challenge to leverage the best of two worlds: leveraging global products and features while keeping the flexibility to adapt them to the local context of Colombia.
- You’ll be asked to deeply understand local customers' needs and decide what to prioritize
- You'll be fundamental in coordinating and understanding the technical difficulties inherent in this process, ensuring solidity and scalability.
You'll be responsible for
- Bridging the gap between our Product Operations team and the Engineering team, by understanding business needs, impact and prioritizing initiatives
- Building solutions with the team to achieve main business objectives and solve the needs of our customers
- Ensuring the speed and quality of the team’s decisions to maximize impact.
- Being involved in every stage of a solution life cycle: discovery, definition, planning, execution, launching, iterating, and measuring results
- Communicating and building strong relationships with diverse global and cross-functional teams (such as Platforms, Product, Design, Engineering, Business Analysts, etc.)
- Driving the Squad planning process and leading the Squad ceremonies
We are looking for a person who has:
- Product Vision: Ability to set the product vision, understand how it connects to company objectives and communicate it
- Customer Focus: Deep dive into user behavior and needs to derive in practical solutions
- Prioritization: Helping our teams prioritize features based on customer feedback, engineering complexity, and the most relevant business metrics.
- Structured Thinking: Ability to grasp problems of varying levels of complexity and reduce them down to their essentials. Be comfortable working in an uncertain and complex environment
- High agency: work side by side with engineers, designers, data scientists, and other functions to hypothesize, ship and iterate.
- Communication: Building constructive relationships and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Cross-domain adaptability: being able to handle efficiently different and multiple subjects simultaneously
- Advanced or Fluent English: You will use English daily in this role.
