About the role

We are hiring a Marketing Manager to lead Brand Partnerships & Sponsorships in Nu Mexico.

This is a senior, high ownership role. You will be leading brand partnerships and sponsorships overall strategy looking how we can keep building a strong and a culturally connected brand in the market. But will also be analyzing and selecting potential partners, helping us closing the deal with them and developing marketing campaigns managing end to end process and having close relationship with other areas such as: business development, creative team, PR, social organic, media team building initiatives that can help meet both partner’s goals and Nu Mexico goals.

Key Responsibilities

Build the brand partnerships and sponsorships overall strategy

  • Set the strategic vision for Brand Partnerships, defining priority territories, long-term objectives, and the role partnerships play in advancing brand and business outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize high-impact partners, building a clear market map and engagement roadmap that focuses resources on the opportunities with the greatest strategic and customer relevance.
  • Leverage insights and data by working closely with Research and Social teams to evaluate cultural relevance, audience overlap, and resonance with both current and future customers in Mexico.
  • Own the partnership planning horizon, developing the 2026 roadmap while laying the strategic groundwork for 2027 to ensure continuity, scale, and long-term impact.
  • Lead the development of partnership strategies and value propositions, crafting compelling, win-win frameworks and strategic narratives that align partner objectives with our brand ambition.

Drive the partner relationship and acquisition cycle: 

  • Once key strategic partners have been identified, you will be leading the relationship with them, cultivating high-impact and long-term alliances with them.
  • Source, structure, negotiate, and close complex partnerships with senior counterparts, asking for Nu BizDev help only when needed.
  • Own partnerships from first conversation through launch, iteration, and renewal.
  • Assisting to partner events, conferences and invitations related to work topics.

 

Go-to-Market Execution: 

  • Architect, develop and launch marketing campaigns with the partner giving end to end follow up to campaign assets, but also brand experiences/events or promotions, while defining the optimal communication channels to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Lead synergy across Creative, Media, Analytics, Research, Product and BizDev teams to ensure a unified approach to reach marketing objectives.

Skills you´ll need to succeed: 

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in partnership strategy and/ or marketing strategy.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience structuring and closing complex partnerships.
  • Brand strategy and brand building knowledge.
  • Clear, structured thinking, with the ability to define strategy, make trade-offs, prioritize, make decisions and operate independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities and strategies might shift quickly.
  • English and Spanish professional proficiency.

 

Our Nu Way of Working:

The Nu Way of Working is our hybrid work model that was created so people could collaborate more in person and still keep the flexibility of remote work. Starting in July 2026 we will attend the office 2 days a week while the other 3 days are fully remote. in this case in our Mexico City Office located near Polanco.
