
Enterprise Sales Executive

As an Enterprise Sales Executive, you will join our growing team as an individual contributor to help accelerate revenue growth across Japan focusing on buy-side institutions such as Asset Management Companies, Pension Funds & Insurance Firms, Fund of Funds / Consultants, and Hedge Funds & Family Offices.
What You'll Do:
- Business Development: Proactively identify and target Japanese buy-side clients; adapt the value proposition to local needs and accurately maintain sales forecasts in Salesforce.
- Consultative Sales: Understand client investment processes, pain points, and technology requirements. Customize demos to showcase how the software fits existing workflows and recommend solutions; and deliver revenue-generating and adoption/usage goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with C-level executives, stakeholders, including IT and investment teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales operations, marketing, product management, and other internal teams to ensure effective pipeline development aligned with go-to-market strategies.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: With a minimum of 7+ years experience in a sales role within a software/data/services organization with a proven record of driving consultative sales across buy-side institutions in Japan.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required; relevant certifications in sales or channel management are advantageous.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and cross-cultural skills; ability to build trust among diverse clients; and adeptness at cross-functional teamwork. Desire to continually learn and add new technical and selling skills.
- Profile: Ability to establish key relationships within strategic accounts, including senior client relationships at C-levels. Highly motivated and target/quota driven with proven ability in accurate pipeline management from initial lead to close.
- Language: Fluent Japanese and professional English for client and internal communication is essential.
Where You’ll Work:
This role will be based out of the Tokyo Office located at WeWork Marunouchi Kitaguchi, Building 9F, Tokyo, Japan 100-0005.
