Job Title: Hardware Program Manager (PC Components)

JOB SUMMARY

The Hardware Program Manager is responsible for NZXT PC Component products development of various types of derivatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with SW & HW & FW development managers, engineers, and other logistical personnel to understand, define, and implement processes for support for PC Components product development.
  • Partnership with Product Marketing, design team, packaging qualification team, and supplier to develop and launch product package into the manufacturer.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships through consistent, on-time delivery of commitments and effective communication.
  • Work closely with the development leads to ensure features are delivered.
  • Define project responsibilities with key stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional project meetings to ensure all necessary teams are current on required actions and have clarity on future expectations and deadlines.
  • Analyze capabilities and gaps with current partners and make recommendations on improvement opportunities or risks that require addressing.
  • Drive execution of projects to meet objectives in cost, schedule, and product quality.
  • Providing functional expertise to assess potential schedule risks and operational impact.
  • Weekly project review meetings to effectively align teams across the project on activity.
  • Create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Process POs and update budget / financial trackers.

EXPERIENCE

  • Leadership qualities: Integrity, attention to detail, timeline sensitivity, and goal-oriented.
  • Experience in managing Brand product development.
  • 3+ years of Project/ Program Management experience in high-tech and consumer products environments with cross-functional teams, experience leading projects.
  • Team-oriented: The team player must seamlessly partner with the development lead to assess risk,strategize, and meet project deliverables.
  • Superior project scoping, project timeline development, risk assessment, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience creating comprehensive project timelines utilizing project management software, e.g. SmartSheet, Google Suite, Workfront, etc.
  • Candidates must have excellent organizational skills, professional oral and written communication skills, and a high level of interpersonal skills.

SKILLS

  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources.
  • Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally.
  • Experience in PC Components, and related consumer electronic products.
  • Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
  • Goal-oriented.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure work environment.
