Job Description

Obsidian Security is seeking an experienced Program Manager to drive collaboration between our engineering and product teams. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring seamless execution of cross-functional projects, delivering high-quality outcomes, and keeping stakeholders informed on progress. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between engineering and product teams, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and track the progress of cross-functional projects, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Create clear, concise, and actionable progress reports to update executive leadership on the status of ongoing initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams, ensuring all stakeholders have the information they need to make informed decisions.
  • Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Drive accountability and transparency across teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Contribute to improving internal processes and workflows to optimize collaboration and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management roles, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects involving product and engineering teams.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to create clear, compelling, and professional reports for executive audiences.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Asana.
  • A track record of identifying and mitigating risks in complex projects.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a cybersecurity or SaaS company.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Background in data analysis or reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience in presenting progress and outcomes to C-suite leadership.

Pay Transparancy

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for equity awards and may be eligible for incentive compensation based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.

Pay Range

$129,000 - $206,000 USD
