About The Opportunity

The Compliance department at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and Compliance risk. We operate a global and local Compliance model, whereby subject matter experts within Central Compliance support local in-country Compliance Officers to ensure their programs are robust, consistent, and meet both local regulatory requirements and internal global standards.
 
The Compliance Training Team sits in the Central Compliance Team. The team is responsible for development and implementation of Compliance trainings on a global scale, establishing and maintaining controls to mitigate and sustain operational, regulatory and reputational risk.
 

What You’ll Be Doing

The successful candidate will work closely with the Compliance Training Lead and team to coordinate effective training efforts and reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions with local requirements.
 
In this role you will:
  • Thoroughly document training activities, attendance records, and other ad-hoc compliance-related materials/data and generate reports for management and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Provide support to create new and enhance existing Compliance training materials relevant to regulatory requirements within multiple jurisdictions and the crypto industry.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills with attention to detail and effective monitoring abilities to assess data accurately and enhance training reporting and metrics development.
  • Monitor and analyze evolving cryptocurrency regulations and compliance standards globally to ensure that training materials, reporting, and documentation remain up-to-date and aligned with the latest regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the Compliance Training Lead to gather insights from internal subject matter experts, as directed, for developing accurate and relevant training reporting and metrics.
  • Assist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

What We Look For In You

  • Solid experience in Compliance within financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries.
  • Some experience in data analytics, building dashboards, and/or metrics tracking and assisting in building online libraries for training materials and compliance training data.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of financial services (crypto is a plus) regulations and compliance.
  • Have prior experience in Compliance training.
  • Have strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Flourish in a fast-paced, ever-changing global environment by quickly adjusting plans and strategies in response to new information, evolving regulations, and shifting priorities.
  • Have proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and ability to pivot and multi-task.
  • Is a self-motivated, critical thinker and comfortable working independently in a dispersed team environment.
  • Excel in a team-oriented setting, working closely with colleagues across departments to ensure alignment of compliance training initiatives.
  • Have familiarity with AML/CFT, Sanctions, money transmission regulation, virtual currency, and/or crypto related requirements.

Nice-To-Haves

  • Bilingual in reading, writing, and speaking in both simplified Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
  • CAMS or equivalent certification.
