About the Team:
The Compliance function at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and enterprise risk.
What You'll be Doing:
As Global Head of Global FCC, you’ll oversee and advance a comprehensive Financial Crime Compliance program, managing KYC, Sanctions, and FIU investigations. This role requires exceptional technical expertise and leadership skills to design, implement, and mature compliance frameworks, leveraging cutting-edge technology such as AI and machine learning to enhance operational efficiency and risk management.
What You'll be Doing:

Leading strategic direction, design, development and implementation of Financial Crimes Compliance programs and controls across KYC, Sanctions Compliance, and the FIU.

Developing, maintaining, and enhancing robust compliance policies, procedures, controls, and frameworks.

Driving technology adoption, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, to enhance compliance effectiveness.

Ensuring FCC meets defined global regulatory standards (E.g. FATF, BSA/AML, OFAC, etc).

Engaging cross-functionally (with groups such as the Business, Data, Finance, Legal, Product, and Risk) to implement an effective compliance management program in line with the global standards and industry best practices.

Preparing Compliance reports, including reports to management and the board, and other materials as required by direct and matrix stakeholders and submit timely.

Assist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
What We Look For in You:

8+ years of experience in financial crime compliance within financial services, FinTech or crypto industries.

Strong expertise in global regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.

Proven leadership and team management skills in dynamic, cross-functional environments.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Deep knowledge of emerging technologies that are used to mitigate financial crime risk, in particular AI and machine learning.

Proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated, critical thinker and adept at working independently and in a dispersed team environment covering multiple and varied tasks

Intuitive, highly ethical and comfortable to question and challenge

Strong communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization, both verbal and written

Prior experience working in a multinational or matrix environment

OKX Statement:
The salary range for this position is $210,000 to $312,000. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
