About the Opportunity
The Privacy function at OKX/OKCoin is responsible for the overall privacy compliance culture at the company. We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on privacy principles and data engineering practices intended to create greater trust and tranparency. Our team consists of seasoned risk professionals who are based across our global offices.
What You’ll Be Doing

A Privacy Analyst manages the legal and operational risks around sensitive and critical information assets by assessing business operations on a continual basis, developing the right policies, procedures, and training programs, and overseeing all data agreements

Assist in the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of global privacy policies, procedures, requirements and notices

Assist in conducting annual assessments of global privacy programs, identify areas of opportunities and design and implement improvements to help ensure compliance with global privacy laws

Assist in developing and delivering, with input from key stakeholders, enterprise-wide and role-based privacy training

Support the day-to-day operations of the Data Subject Rights program

Assist in maintaining records of processing activities and data processing inventory

Engage and liaise with other legal and business teams to provide guidance on and ensure privacy considerations are integrated into project planning and day-to-day operations

Provide privacy guidance and requirements to business teams for the onboarding & offboarding of third-party vendors

Assist in managing and maintaining privacy metrics reporting

Assist in managing external-facing Privacy inbox email

Managing teams implementing Data Governance tools with a complex business environment, through requirements gathering, building, testing, and production roll-out

Helping lead and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive data privacy strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and ensures compliance with data protection regulations, and safeguarding of sensitive information

Conduct data privacy training and awareness programs for employees to ensure compliance at all levels of the organization

Manage Data Protection Impact Assessments to assess and mitigate privacy risks associated with new projects or system changes
What We Look For In You
-
Understanding of data privacy, data protection and regulatory aspects of data governance, data lifecycle management, including retention management, implementing a data rights framework, implementing contractual requirements, controls set, etc

Understanding of data privacy and data protection as it relates to the handling of sensitive information
-
Possessing knowledge and experience with overall data architecture, profiling, quality, metadata management, etc
-
A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in privacy governance and compliance roles, preferably in a regulated industry or highly complex environment

Strong understanding of information security and data protection

Familiarity with US, EU, and other global privacy laws and regulations, such as CCPA/CPRA and GDPR
-
Experience supporting privacy and consent management, individual rights, compliance processes, policies, reporting and controls

Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and presentation skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to develop and articulate strategy for process improvement

Bachelors degree or higher in a related discipline

The salary range for this position is $101,000 - $152,000
-
The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
