Role Overview:
The Compliance department at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and the Compliance risk. We operate a global/local Compliance model, whereby subject matter experts within Central Compliance support local in-country Compliance Officers to ensure their programs are robust, consistent, and meet both local regulatory requirements and internal global standards.

The Enterprise Compliance Project Management Team Leader will spearhead enterprise-wide delivery of critical compliance initiatives, regulatory implementation programs, and remediation efforts. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Compliance Enablement, this leader will partner with cross-functional teams—including Legal, Product, Engineering, and Risk—to ensure compliance requirements are seamlessly integrated into business processes and technology solutions. With a strong foundation in project governance and stakeholder engagement, the ideal candidate will drive efficient outcomes and foster a proactive, scalable compliance function across jurisdictions.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Accelerate regulatory adoption through timely implementation of new compliance requirements and regulatory mandates across the organization.
  • Strengthen program governance through establishing a centralized PMO structure with standardized methodologies, dashboards, and SLA-driven processes.
  • Enable compliance-by-design by embedding compliance requirements early and deeply within relevant product development and deployment lifecycles.
  • Optimize stakeholder coordination by streamlining collaboration between Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Operations to improve efficiency and reduce complexity.
  • Increase transparency and accountability by providing consistent reporting and escalation mechanisms to leadership for enhanced visibility and oversight.
What We Look For In You:
  • Lead end-to-end project management for compliance programs — such as KYC/CIP, AML, sanctions initiatives, privacy, control & issue management, training, and regulatory change rollout—with charter, scope, timeline, and KPI definitions.
  • Support compliance stakeholders through engagement with relevant Product and Engineering teams, translating regulatory requirements into technical and operational implementation plans.
  • Create and maintain project governance artifacts, including Gantt charts, RAID logs, action trackers, and status dashboards.
  • Coordinate global deployments of compliance solutions and internal tooling, establishing workflows from requirements gathering through rollout and post-launch reviews.
  • Drive operational readiness, including support for Go/No-Go evaluations, pre-launch testing, and post-implementation validations to ensure compliance effectiveness.
  • Manage escalation of project risks, dependencies, and issues, engaging senior stakeholders and ensuring communication through clear bulletins and leadership reports.
  • Partner with global and regional teams to harmonize best practices, identify cross-region gaps, and deliver consistent compliance project delivery.
  • Regularly prepare executive-level status updates, dashboards, and briefing materials to inform leadership decision-making and demonstrate program progress.
  • Develop standard templates, PMO playbooks, and knowledge assets to scale the function and enable continuous improvement across compliance projects.
  • Mentor and guide project team members, driving program excellence and cultivating best-in-class cross-functional collaboration.
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
  • PMP, PgMP, or other related certifications.
  • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), CAMS, or similar compliance certifications.
  • Experience in the crypto, DeFi, or digital assets space, particularly with fast-scaling compliance needs.
  • Previous experience managing large-scale remediation efforts or consent order implementations.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams on integrating compliance into technical workflows and system design.
  • Understanding of data governance and privacy-related regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, or regional equivalents.
  • Exposure to regulatory exams, audits, or similar external stakeholder engagement processes.
Perks & Benefits:
  • Competitive total compensation package
  • L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
  • Various team building programs and company events
  • Wellness and meal allowances
  • Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
  • More that we love to tell you along the process!

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
