Role:  Affiliate Marketing Manager

Location:  London, United Kingdom

About the role:

This is a delivery-focused affiliate marketing role that combines hands-on campaign management with relationship building, performance analysis, and strategic growth activity. You'll support the Affiliate Manager across all affiliate-related operations, manage day-to-day partner engagement across the portfolio, and help build the infrastructure and partnerships that drive long-term channel growth.

Success in this role looks like a well-managed, growing affiliate portfolio, consistent performance against KPI targets, strong partner relationships at every tier, and clear, reliable reporting that stakeholders can act on.

 What you will be doing:

  • Affiliate Account Operations
    • Ensure smooth operation across all affiliate activities — running campaigns, monitoring key metrics, and identifying areas for improvement and optimisation
    • Monitor and analyse campaign results, producing weekly and monthly KPI reports with clear insight and recommendations for the client
    • Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to ensure the affiliate calendar and strategy remain aligned with the broader brand and communications plan
    • Support the Affiliate Manager with affiliate-related queries and monthly validation processes
    • Monitor affiliate profitability and performance, flagging risks and opportunities proactively
    • Audit publisher accounts and domains to ensure promotional codes and offers are accurately represented and exposure opportunities are maximised
  • Partner Relationships
    • Maintain regular, proactive contact with affiliate partners across the portfolio — keeping them informed, engaged, and motivated to perform
    • Negotiate and optimise individual affiliate partnerships to ensure business objectives and ROI targets are consistently met
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Tier 2 and Tier 3 publishers, treating them as valuable long-term partners
  • Portfolio Growth
    • Help build and manage the UK affiliate portfolio — supporting the creation, planning, and execution of acquisition and retention campaigns
    • Optimise affiliate channel revenue to meet annual targets, identifying and acting on efficiency and growth opportunities
    • Work with Partnerize to create gap analyses that identify new partnership opportunities and support recruitment of new affiliates
    • Conduct market and competitor research to inform growth strategy and support future planning
  • Reporting and Insight
    • Deliver clear, concise, and reliable reporting on all affiliate activity to key stakeholders, both on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis
    • Work alongside the Data Analyst and Marketing Intelligence team to optimise affiliate performance and investment decisions
    • Use performance data to inform campaign refinement and strategic recommendations
  • Budget and Financial Management
    • Track and report on affiliate channel spend and investment at a project level, supporting accurate budget management across the portfolio
    • Monitor commission models and ROI against targets, providing data-backed rationale for investment decisions
    • Support purchase order and invoice processing alongside the wider team, escalating discrepancies promptly

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Proven experience in affiliate or influencer marketing management — with a track record of managing partner relationships, running campaigns, and delivering against revenue and ROI targets
  • Strong understanding of the affiliate marketing industry: commission models, tracking solutions, publisher types, and platform mechanics
  • Experience working with affiliate platforms such as Partnerize or equivalent
  • Background in consumer electronics or a comparable e-commerce environment is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office — particularly Excel and PowerPoint — with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and stakeholder-ready performance reports
  • Comfortable working with campaign data and translating performance metrics into actionable insight and recommendations
  • Experience collaborating with data and analytics teams to optimise channel investment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with affiliate partners across tiers — including negotiation, ongoing engagement, and performance management
  • Track record of developing partnerships that deliver mutual commercial value, with confidence in crafting and closing win-win solutions
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment — prioritising effectively and resolving issues without losing momentum
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate clearly across internal teams and external partners
  • Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to affiliate marketing — including tools that support campaign reporting, partner communication, insight synthesis, and workflow management
  • Experience building personal AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting workload
  • Agentic approach to affiliate management challenges: able to break down complex performance problems, identify the most efficient path forward, and execute with consistency
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply sound commercial judgement before sharing or acting on them
  • Familiarity with Partnerize or comparable affiliate tracking and management platforms
  • Experience in consumer electronics, retail, or D2C e-commerce environments
  • Knowledge of paid media or broader performance marketing channels
  • Formal qualifications are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience counts, whether gained through work, study, volunteering, or self-directed learning.
