Role:  Senior Account Manager

Location:  London, United Kingdom

About the role:

The Senior Account Manager is the engine of the studio. You'll own the client relationship day-to-day, manage every creative touchpoint from brief to delivery, and lead a team of four to produce consistently strong retail and channel marketing work across a broad product portfolio.

This is a role for someone who holds the quality bar high while keeping the team inspired and the client confident. Someone who understands creative and production processes well enough to set accurate timelines, challenge assumptions, and catch a problem before it escalates.

What you will be doing:

  • Client and Account Management
    • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for the client, owning communications across briefing, status updates, reviews, and presentations
    • Build a trusted, proactive client relationship - consultative in approach, solutions-focused when challenges arise, and reliable at every touchpoint
    • Develop deep knowledge of the brands we work with, retail environment, product portfolio, and competitive landscape across electronics and appliances categories, and bring that knowledge into every conversation
    • Identify opportunities to improve how we work with the client and add value to the account, surfacing ideas and recommendations to the Account Director or Group Account Director
  • Studio Delivery
    • Write and own all incoming briefs, translating client requirements into clear, actionable creative direction
    • Proof and quality-control all outgoing work - ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and production standards are met before anything reaches the client
    • Set and track realistic timelines across multiple concurrent projects, applying strong knowledge of creative and production workflows
    • Coordinate with print and merchandise suppliers, managing relationships, specifications, and delivery schedules
  • People and Resource Management
    • Help manage, develop and grow the team
    • Allocate resource across the workload thoughtfully, balancing team capacity with project priority
    • Provide regular, clear, and constructive feedback that helps team members grow and produce their best work
    • Build a collaborative studio environment where people feel supported, trusted, and accountable
  • Budget and Project Finance
    • Manage out-of-scope project-level budgets, including cost estimation, purchase orders, invoicing, and reconciliation
    • Source and coordinate freelancers and production partners when needed, negotiating rates and managing delivery
    • Flag budget risks and variances early, escalating to the Account Director or Group Account Director where required

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Substantial account management experience in an agency or in-house studio, with a track record of leading client relationships independently and with confidence
  • Proven experience managing and developing a small creative team - you know how to brief clearly, give feedback well, and bring out strong work in others
  • A solid retail or channel marketing background, with hands-on experience across print, digital, social, and web channels
  • Excellent briefing and proofing skills - you can distil a complex client requirement into a precise creative brief, and review output with a sharp, uncompromising eye for detail
  • Confident client communicator and presenter - equally at ease in a client meeting and in written correspondence
  • Strong project management skills: experienced running multiple concurrent projects without losing grip on the detail
  • Working knowledge of print and merchandise production processes and supplier management
  • Comfortable with project-level budgets, purchase orders, and the financial admin that comes with running a busy account
  • Professional proficiency in a European language is a strong advantage:  we operate across European marketsand language skills genuinely add value on this account
  • Advanced proficiency with Gen AI tools to improve account management workflows - from briefing, communications, and status reporting to research and documentation
  • Experience designing or refining AI-assisted workflows for yourself and, where relevant, your team
  • Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically, applying judgment to ensure accuracy, brand alignment, and quality
  • An agentic approach to problem-solving: you break complex, multi-step challenges into manageable components, identify the most efficient path forward, and adapt when circumstances change
  • Confidence guiding team members in responsible and effective AI use
