About the role: 

Inside Ideas Group is a rapidly expanding creative services agency with a twist – we provide our clients with bespoke dedicated agencies that operate from within their offices. We are building a team of individuals who have the ability and confidence to learn on the job and help the client transform their marketing capabilities. 

The Southeast Asia Google Ads Marketing team is looking for a passionate marketing program manager to drive projects delivering thought leadership initiatives and events to advertisers across various industries in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia.                                                                        

You’ll help shape and execute key thought leadership initiatives inspiring our most important advertising partners  to deepen their partnerships with Google. You will support the team to create thought leadership strategy, narratives and marketing execution for our Google Ads products across digital content and marketing (editorials, social), events and experiences. . You will also work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product Specialists, Research, Comms & PR, Legal, as well as external agencies, to bring these programs to life. 

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Assist the Marketing Manager (MM) in developing innovative marketing strategies to engage large advertisers and drive adoption of Google's Ad solutions. 
  • Independently lead or support MM in developing and executing  Google and/or external 3P partnerships events such as YouTube Works and key regional industry events etc                                   
  • Develop thought leadership content and case studies across select Google Ads focus product areas (video, measurement, performance solutions) Manage amplification of content through internal channels such as industry events and editorials (Think With Google) and external partnerships (Advertising & Marketing magazine, Campaign Asia etc) )   
  • Own, track and report results of various marketing programs 
  • Manage external event and content agencies for delivery of assigned projects 
  • Collaborate with cross function stakeholders on designated projects.         

 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English  
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage, coordinate and track multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables in a highly dynamic and constantly changing context. 
  • Structured and proactive, eye for constant innovation and improvement. 
  • Skilled communicator with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to comfortably communicate cross-functionally in a structured and clear manner to influence outcome. 
  • Proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for innovation and thinking outside the box. 
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in Malay 
  • Prior experience in advertising, tech or marketing organization 
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies 
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
